consider the numbing effect of never again having to ask anyone directions or really talk directly to any one at all at some time it apart that people may have two brains one that is storied in their head and the other that is surgically attached to there hand or store in their pockets (sorry about the brave new world imagery) and your only as smart as the app you have

but have we become to reliant on this new technology it the systems would crash is their a teenager or young adult who would reliably be able to find their way around? And where exactly is this sudden dependence on these systems leading us?

Exercise 8 - CURRENT AWARENESS POST

Modern social media is amazing with nothing but a computer or a mobile phone individuals are now able to connect with each other half way across the world from each other with all this technology at our finger tips it some times hard to remember the down side to all this identity theft, cyber bullying ect

the article Facebook privacy settings: Who cares? Discusses the pros and cons of one of thew worlds moat well known social networking sites 

There have been multiple horror stories from this sight of stalking, bank account drainage or out of control parties

each time the website's administers are forces to put out a statement or an apology or even add new security precaution to try and protect certain careless users but is it really the fault of the website or do we simply have to be more aware of the dangers that this social networking poses in order to ovoid them in short the article say yes it is
it talks in depth about the privacy setting already in place on the sight and the kind of people that are making use of it describing things like internet familiarity, gender preferences (both in relation to the internet as a whole and face book it’s self) and fear as some of the motivators for seeking out more comprehensive security settings
